“The best way to understand what AI agents can and cannot do is to spend a day working with them. You will leave immune to hype and focused on real value.”

Why this exists

Because one day of building beats a thousand slides about AI.

The speed and scale are impressive. The cognitive abilities are less so. Agents can ship solutions and errors faster than old ways of working can account for. This masterclass lets you see what the hype is about and what the sales pitches leave out.

What changes when you build

  1. 01

    See the capability

Understand what agents are, how they work and what they can genuinely do.

  2. 02

    Find the limit

Watch where they fall short. Learn how much human supervision the work needs.

  3. 03

    Stay in control

Keep quality high, costs low and judgment where it belongs: with you.

You do not leave with a theory. You leave with a working, deployed solution.

Every group walks away with the skills to build the next one.

This is not

  • A prompt-engineering tutorial
  • Tips and tricks for chatting with LLMs
  • A tour of where to click in one AI tool

Agentic AI has changed what matters. Learn that instead.

Choose your build

Nine challenges. Pick three, or propose your own.

This is not a scripted exercise. Your goal is to test the limits and push AI agents as hard as possible.

Start with a direction. Think bigger from there. Pick a challenge, such as a News radar, then turn it into the most ambitious, useful version you can imagine: the kind of tool you assumed would cost thousands of euros and many developer hours.

Take it as far as possible. Your group will build, test and improve the idea throughout the day.

See what must change. Experience AI’s scale, speed and limitations, then understand what a company, team or individual needs to use it well.

Your group. We place you with participants who share your interests. Together, you define the tool and have the freedom to shape it into something useful. By the end of the day, you will have a working prototype.

Live support. Maria has years of hands-on coding and LLM experience, so she can build live, troubleshoot openly and help every group move from idea to something that runs.

The day

Eight hours, structured so you never sit stuck.

A hands-on workshop with brief teaching sessions, plenty of time to build, and a final demo.

The right room

This is for you if

  • You have never coded, or tried vibe coding once and stalled.

  • You are tired of AI hype, glossy slides and big promises. You want to see what agents are good for.

  • You want to understand how people across your organisation, from developers to marketing, finance and operations, can use LLMs to do useful work.

  • You want to learn the essential skill of directing an agent, checking its work and improving the result.

  • You want a clear-eyed view of what this technology can do today and where it still fails.

Article 4 · EU AI Act

The EU AI Act makes AI literacy an organisational obligation.

If your organisation provides or deploys AI systems, Article 4 requires it to take measures that support the development of AI literacy among staff and others using AI on its behalf. The European Commission explicitly confirms that this includes companies whose employees use tools such as ChatGPT for work.

Questions

The things people ask before registration.

I have genuinely never written a line of code. Is that a problem?

No. This is the whole point. There is a myth that building with AI is for coders. It is not. The essential skill is being able to speak a human language, think clearly and formulate what you want to build.

What do I need to bring?

Your personal laptop, with admin rights.

Please do not bring a work laptop or any device where you cannot install software. You will need to set up and use new tools during the day.

Which tools will we use?

This workshop does not teach a particular interface. It teaches the principles of building with AI agents.

When you register, you can choose the tool most relevant to your work: Claude Cowork, Codex, GitHub Copilot or another option you already use. The day is designed to help you understand how agentic AI works, not where to click in one specific tool.

Do I need to pay for an AI subscription?

Yes. To build with Codex or Claude Code, you need a paid subscription on your own account. We recommend ChatGPT Plus for this workshop ($20/month, plus applicable taxes). It includes access to Codex.

If you prefer Claude Code, choose Claude Pro ($20/month in the US; local pricing and taxes vary). Buy the plan on your own account, then submit your receipt for reimbursement. Please do not share your login details or API keys with us.

Will there be an invoice I can claim back?

Yes. You get a proper invoice in your company's name, issued before the event. There is a section in the application for the billing details, and a two-page employer approval and reimbursement brief you can forward to whoever approves your budget.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Everyone leaves with a certificate of participation recording the date, the hours and what was covered, in your name and ready for your employer's training records. If your organisation provides or uses AI systems, the EU AI Act requires it to take measures supporting its staff's AI literacy (Article 4, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744). This certificate records participation in one such measure and may be kept with the employer's Article 4 documentation.

Being straight about what it is: a record of participation, not a vocational qualification and not an accredited certification. No official AI literacy certificate exists; the European Commission's guidance says organisations can keep internal records of training and other guiding initiatives.

Why not online?

Because the value is the person who walks over when your screen goes red. Online, people drift, mute, and give up around hour three. On-site, nobody does.

What if I cannot make it after paying?

Free cancellation and full refund up to 15 calendar days before the workshop start date. After that, your seat is transferable to a colleague at no cost; tell me who is coming instead.

Will it be in English or German?

The day runs in English. Maria also speaks German, so tutoring at your table can happen in either language. Tell us which you prefer in your application.

Do I keep what I build?

Entirely. Your code, your accounts, your deployment. I keep nothing, and nothing is shown publicly without your explicit consent.

Small groups. Big understanding.

Join a group of four or five. Trying AI agents yourself is worth more than a thousand hours of PowerPoint pitches.
